For some cases it takes time. You know right, its cic and each and every officer work in different fashion and no timeline (oh sorry there is but the revisit of timeline is 12 months for every step and task :) ). So its defitely possible that it will take anywhere from few days to few months ???
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-long-does-it-take-after-medical-results-have-been-received-t191930.45.html

Its not only in this thread but seen many posts in different threads on pnp and fsw (for some of them it took time which we dont know the reason for though).

i still think that the visa officer is pushing the line update exclusively. on the second thought nowadays we could see that its getting updated within 10-15 days hence thinking nowadays they changed it automatically whenever the medical team verified it. Dont know much but thinking it might be.

Expect some delays in DM as I have been waiting from last 4 months for DM after medicals received. So May 2015 applicants probably have to wait another 4 months to expect DM and PPR's.

We are in final processing stages for sure. Hopefully this upcoming week we get our PPR :)
Hello jimmylama88,

How to do this? Instead of unique client id ( UCI ) what do I need to select?

Thanks

Not necessarily Gagan. I think we all have a skewed view of CIC's timelines. The Sydney VO for inland applicants has a service standard of 11 months for applicants who submit their applications complete. My twin sister got her PR in just under 11 months and it was because she made a couple of mistakes on her application that delayed her a month.

Think: did you submit all your previous addresses and countries where you have lived within Canada and traveled to accurately? Most people don't realize how much this part of your PR application can actually delay it, but alongside with your police certificates, this part is what takes long to verify in the Security Check after medicals are received and passed. Also, food for thought, have you lived in different countries or traveled extensively or repeatedly? They verify every of your trips too.

So just my two cents. I've been waiting over a month since medicals received, but had to wait 6 months before even getting the medicals requested! And that was after I got EP.

Hard to determine their timelines. Truly every case is different and only God can help us. We should pray for them for wisdom to process each case accurately and efficiently as to avoid any potential delays.

Best of luck to all of us!

That's really awful, but good news is that there is an applicant who was quite close to you in terms of Received by CIO has been made the decision. so may you receive DM very soon.

Thanks pal, your reply always keeps high quality, I guess you work in science field.

But to be honest, I don't expect such optimistic attitude towards my case.

Yes, I totally agree with you. That's what I mentioned in my previous post as applicants who applied in the month of May 2015 can expect to get their DM or PPR's in about 4 months which is going to be month of May 2016.

As regarding timelines, I know CIC works in different ways and they work in batches coz one batch they are sending PPR's while other batch they are sending MR and so on. For all these applications they have to do all these 4 checks which is Eligibility, Medical, Criminality and Security.
In all these 4 checks security part takes a long time. And is the last part on most of the applications.

As per my timeline, I have the same thing going on as you mentioned in the post. I got my MR after 7 months of filling the application. And only left with Security part which they didn't even started from the time I got my EP. So similarly most of the May 2015 applicants got their MR in December or January 2016 month and expected to get their DM or PPR 's in May 2016 which will be approx 11 to 12 months after filling the application. If processing time goes down or they get lucky, they can expect PPR a month earlier too. As it all depends how many applications CIC received in a month.

thanks for your two cents, if your info was precise, 11-month-stand for inland applicant, I will be very happy, which means I can get my dm before May/June and land around September. then I don't have to apply Bridge Open Work permit. that would save time and a lot of money, so exciting. Hope you are right!

Just hope vo won't send me letter for additional documents, because I sent all of paperworks with applicant package in May and hope they regard it as complete.

January saw a huge batch of applications which seems they have worked through most of them since a lot of em got their PPRs last month. Feb was particularly low and March and April not as many as Jan. So I am really hopeful us May 2015 applicants will get PPR late Feb or mid March by late, but again, I am speculating as each case is different and we don't have all the information. It is possible that CIC hires more staff under this new government, so all we have is pray.

Best to all of us!

HI Jimmy lama, where did you see that? I checked the google spreadsheet in this thread, seems only one or two got approved for inland applicants. so I guess you might have another source.
