In the last 5 weeks CIC is working well for Apr and May applicants even though it was slow during Oct and Nov. Hopefully we will move to the next stage of DM and PPR in the next few months if this speed continues. Let us see. Now we can start tracking DM/PPR batch email dates. Will we see it in the next 4-5 months?

Jan applicant reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 17-Aug
Feb applicants MR: 10-Sep
Feb few applicants reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 14-Sep
March early applicants MR: 17-Sep
March some applicants MR: 13-Oct
March applicant reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 22-Oct
April applicant reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 9-Nov
Early Mar & Mid Mar till Apr 10 applicants MR: 25-Nov
Apr 21-30 applicant(s) MR: 11-Dec
Apr 21-30 applicant(s) MR: 15-Dec
Mar 17 applicant reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 22-Dec
May applicant(s) MR: 23-Dec
May applicant reminder emails - (RPRF & PCC): 30-Dec

thanks for this updates, I just hope they will soon make the first 2015 DM in the early of 2016. I almost lost the confidence for the immigration. my wp will expire at the end of 2016. If they keep the same processing speed and I don't find new job in Canada before that, then I have to leave this country at the end of 2016, that's really frustrating.

Yes hopefully they start clearing 2014 applications soon and start working on 2015 ones.
I wish cic issues ppr in at least 6 months of medicals so that people can plan. Did you get your MR yet?

Just now noticing in the reminder email they asked to send the copy of passport (if any) to the address (and no word to use cse) and i raised cse to send this passport copy, pcc and rprf. What do i do? SHould i wait for 2-3 weeks to see if it gets updated in my file and take a call if i need to send it to the address? I believe people changed the passport just before ppr, right, and they are asking on it to make it ready as its required at the time of ppr, correct? whats your thought/interpretation?

PASSPORTS
Passports for you and all accompanying family members must be valid at the time of visa issuance. If your passports have expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for new passports as soon as possible. You can send a Copy of the Biodata Page (page with photograph and name) to the following addresses below.

Yup, Dec 23th. But a further checking on the DM progress makes me disappointment. I don't think they could make it in 6 months in according to current frequency.

Good catch, you reminds me of this, I guess they just want to use it to tell if you need to apply for a new passport based on their progress.

Yes

You can also order your GCMS medical file notes which will show all the details of your medical along with it's status.
Anyone (inlanders) applied for gcms recently?
Just checking if any progress in our files yet. I am thinking to apply but if they have not worked much on our files then i can apply after 2-3 months. Please share/suggest if i can apply in March which will show some progress in our files?

I strongly suggest against requesting GCMS file unless you really need it. No point in creating more backlogs for them guys! Have you read their website?! It takes about 2 months to send you the GCMS file and it's no substantial info. It's just all the files you submitted. If you think getting your GCMS file will speed up your application, I can assure you it will probably do the opposite and delay it more. You're just giving the government employees more paperwork and hence creating bigger backlogs affecting the entire process. They even posted and advisory message on their website saying they have received larger than usual requests for the GCMS file.

I suggest lets all be patient, let them do their job and hope 2016 is our year.

Good luck to all.

I think that there is no harm in submitting if its not specified exclusively.
