But im not ee applicant. Can i still do upfront medical? Even without the form? Also my wife and daughter already had medical back in our country. Im not sure if they will need to undergo another medical
The standard procedure is that you cannot do upfront medical. The standard procedure is that you have to receive a medical report form requesting the medical. But..apparently, no one is following the standard procedure. Not even CIC haha.
I have seen people in this forum who have done upfront medical for their pnp application. I myself, received MR but with no form. Two doctors told me I have to have a form. 1 CIC agent told me the same. Today, I called CIC again and I was told I do not need a form. I finally found a doctor who does it without a need for form. So...lots of human error is involved. My suggestion, call as many offices as you can, maybe one of them would do upfront for you.

Yes, you can still do an upfront medical. Your medical exam is only valid for 1 year, that's why CIC sends you an MR after you submit the application. If you do your medical while submitting your application, there is a possibility you might have to redo it in case there is a delay. I strategically did my upfront medical 8 months after submitting my application knowing that my MR is round the corner, in that way I was able to ensure that my medical results wouldn't expire. On March 4th, while sending MR to early June applicants, CIC realized that I already did upfront and therefore updated my ECAS with 'Medical Results have been received'. They didn't had to send me any other Medical request. That's my thought regarding upfront.
