Here is my timeline:

Ontario PhD Graduate Stream:

OINP application received: Feb 25, 2016.
Ontario AOR: July,13,2016
Doc request: September 12, 2016
Nomination Package issued: Oct 31, 2016
Application Received by CIO: Nov 18, 2016
Waiting for AOR.

I have a question. I use credit card for paying application fee, but my credit card has not been charged yet. Anyone else using credit card?

Hi, I'm also paying processing fee by credit card. My package received by CIO on Nov 8th, and a charge of $550 appeared on my card on Jan 16th. I think yours is coming soon just be patient!

I'm an inland AINP-PR applicant and my file was received by CIC on November 10, 2016 and I'm still waiting.

My package received by CIO on Nov 22th, and a charge of $550 appeared on my card on Jan 19th.

I also see my application status, under "A Background Check is Needed", showing "in progress". Does anyone know what it really means? Are they going to verify my criminal records and employment status again?

XEP is temporary which changes to EP if AOR is confirmed

Just to share my timeline to cheer everybody up:

BCPNP Application: 11/11/2016
BCPNP Nomination: 12/02/2016
CIC Submission: 12/12/2016
CIC Delivery: 12/15/2016

AOR: 01/30/2017

I received my AOR only after 45 days after my doc package was delivered. My application number changed from XEP to EP on the same day. Isn't it unbelievable?
I am sure I am not the only lucky one here. I feel like although the office review those packages according to the order they receive them, but there for sure is some randomness. This is why I think my case is worth sharing with each one of you.

I will keep my timeline updated here. Hope it helps a bit!
