Mine is almost 33 months, done my second medical last october and still waiting for PPR
oh my this is crazy I'm at 28 months and was hoping to get PR soon. meanwhile I got call from CPC Ottawa and had a very short interview less than 5 min. He told me "ok I've got your file here and I have a couple of questions", he asked about my application, work, and education back at home. I asked him then if he knows how much more I need to wait, he said I'm working on it and will give you update as soon as possible. My medical exam expired in November so I don't know if they are going to extend it or request it again.

Check GC Key, if its showing "you do not need a medical exam" that means they have extended. I read it somewhere. This has to be the status after "you passed the medical exam".

yes it's showing: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. It will be great if I don't need to do it again

Hi All,

Sep 22, 2016 here with BG/Security in process....

My AINP nomination was an employer- driven through my previous job but with no employment restriction. Recently, I had to change my job after I got my BOWP. Do I need to inform PNP and CIC about my job change? The job I am doing right now is completely a different job and NOC than what I did before. Wondering if the PNP is going to mess up because of the different NOC. Has anybody updated to PNP/CIC of their change in employment before? What documents have you provided for the updated job? Job offer and pay stubs? Thanks.

What do you mean by "employer- driven through my previous job but with no employment restriction"?

I'm with you. Sep 12, 2016 applicant waiting for BOWP. My PNP has no restriction, though I submitted some pay stubs when I applied.

Since I am not an Alberta graduate, I had to apply through my previous employer through International Graduate Category. My pnp certificate has my previous employer's name on it with no employment restriction. You submitted pay stubs to cic or pnp?

Made call to cic today again. They were like they have requested for my medical extension on 9th Nov but didn’t get any response yet. She was like we requested medical extension so i and my spouse can have plenty of time for landing. Because my medical is expiring in 08 january 2019 so they can not give copr beyond this date. Idk how long they gonna take to finalize and make a decision on file.. Any idea peeps
Hi, 2 week ago they request me to pay RPRF fee which i paid the fee on same day, and now my parent medical expired i don't know will they issue the visa or will they request my parents for another medical exam ?

I just received request for medical exam again dammit, it means automatically adding another 2 months of waiting

Too bad for you. When your medical that has been extended by CIC will expire? My medical has been extended by CIC untill Feb 2019. Yesterday, my status has been changed to "Decision Made" on ECAS but no ppr yet. Wondering if they will be asking to redo my medical again. Just waiting to hear from CIC.

So you never got it extended? I don't think it will be another 2 months of waiting. They just wanna make it sure when they send you COPR (after your PPR) you medical status should be valid for a little while.
