The least processing time for security screening is 6 months! It can take 18 months

why 6 months?

Just talk to CIC customer care, before they said reviewing additional documents and background check but today they told me no need of extra documents just we are doing background check and i asked them how long it will take to approved my ppr. She said background check will take 2 months to 12 months or may be more
So I just contact my MP and explain him everything so he will contact CIC...
Even I have ordered gcms notes too

That is why i am not calling them anymore,everytime i have been calling they gave me different answers!Is so confusing!
So much stress,hopefully will be over soon

Yes bella you are absolutely right but need to know about status. Even she told me that some agents helping to immigration officer to check security screening blah blah blah...

I have send email to immigration minister , let’s see how it works .

I know is such a frustrating situation!I read in other threads applicants send e-mail to the minister and the deadline of the answer was 3 months,they got same e-mail,same template!The conclusion was that they had to wait!I really dont get this,what is wrong with them????They are processing some files in less than 14 months and us are still waiting!!They bring us till to this point and now what,are they doubting on us like we are bad people!I feel so sorry for us
