Is there a separate thread for the PR Card follow up ? How long does it take to get the PR card after the landing?

Visaa issued on 2-feb
Cic online account shows approval on Feb7
Passport dispatched on feb 7
Passport received on feb 8
Landing at Kingston border on Feb 8 (yes, you read it right. Same f*****g day).

My experience at Kingston border.
3.5 hrs drive one way from toronto due to weather and traffic
Took no more than 5 minutes inside Immigration office. Border was completely empty (around 8pm). Although there are only 2 Immigration counters. I honestly liked this border. It was very quick.

Just be patient guys, we all will be awarded for our patience. I just avoided checking cic account more than one time in a day because it was makkng me frustrated and depressing.....

Do I need to submit my work permit or any other documents please reply?

When I call them, It says ur application was received on friday september 2nd and even on CIC website, it says the same thing.

Sept 1st was Thursday and labour day
So it makes sense now that CIC would be working on Friday Sept 2nd.
Then 3rd and 4th Sept was weekend so it makes sense why there aren't many applicants during those days

But few applicants use this forum so you never know how many applicants are there!

In my CIC account they updated as approved and also I can see some details about my passport. Does that mean they stamped the Visa and dispatched already?

If you have return envelope tracking number you can check it on canada post your return lable will be activated once they send your passport back and you will get approved written in my cic account

Finally got the email! They made an error with the address earlier! Resent last night!
Here’s my timeline:
App received: August 11, 2016
AOR: November 16, 2016
MR: November 7, 2017
DM/ BGIP: January 26, 2018
PPR: February 8, 2018 (initially sent to an incorrect email on January 26, 2018)
Passport sent today, February 9, 2018
