CIC received my application on August 11 and $1100 was deducted from my credit card on the 28th of October. Please how long does it takes to get your AOR since the day CIC deducted the application fee from your credit card?

It should be 1040$ right ? How come 1100?

Yup it shoukd be 1040 unles they charge some extra fee for deducting themselves

Is it compulsory to pay both the processing fee and the permanent resident holder fee together ? I just paid the processing fee with my application. Will it be a problem or any delay for the AOR?

Hello guys,

Is there a particular way the documents should be arranged? Especially the "Generic Application Form for Canada" which has barcodes. Someone just told me the barcodes page should be on top of other documents. I followed the Document Checklist but there's no instruction there stating that the barcodes page should be placed on top.

Is there anyone here who didnt place d barcodes page on top and has received AOR? Your response will be highly appreciated.

My application form says for principal application, the fee is $550. Besides, it's another $550 for the spouse.

As a result, all together it's $1100. The fee form is IMM5620.

Hey Everyone!

Sent in my file to the feds in July..as far as I know based on the courier service they received it on 14th July. Have not heard from cic since then. It'll round off 4 months on 14th and I have yet to receive my aor. My questions to others on board here is:
1. Those that did receive their aor's in and around 3 months, were you'll applying from within Canada or other countries?
2. Is there any way to link the paper app to the online without the identification number which is provided in the aor mail? (Which I am yet to receive)
3. How many on here are paper based? (which I am) as I'm unsure if PNP applications can be online too or not.
Thanks in advance for any insight that can be provided!
