Hi i got ppr email yesterday. However, my passport expires in August 2018 which is almost 6 months...now should i submit the same passport or will they ask for new one or i should send them a new one?

If your passport is good for more than 180 days (6 months) then you should be fine if it's less than 180 days then I think a new passport is required
That's my understanding based on 6 months requirement outlined by IRCC

Agreed and I still can't figure out if they're following AOR date or application submission date!

AOR : December 12th, 2016
Medical request : November 8th, 2017.
Background Check still not applicable.
I think it really has something to do with the country of origin as I have seen so many cases from our country that got stuck in security clearances but hopefully not us. Believe In God.

i did applied again January 28,they did not send me anything when i applied in December!When i called them they just gave me an e-mail address!Dont know what to say i started to get so worried because of this delay and they never asked me for any doc!
I am July 25,my BG still N/A! There are few left from July in this thread and all of us the same situation!Maybe our files are assigned to the same officer!

Just talked to an IRCC Call center Agent and she said my Security clerance is being done and they don’t know how long will it take but there is a date on my file in the mid of March, don’t know what to do but does anyone know what do they check in the Security check and which forum performs our security checks? Is it the local police or ????
My CIC account still says BG N/A and she said we are doing security clearance??? I don’t know what to say?

I don't think there would be an issue, just prolly let them know you're getting a new one. Mine is also expiring on August 2018, but haven't got my PPR yet and might be coming pretty soon. So planning on renewing mine on Monday.
Can all the delayed applicant of july and aug share their country who are still receiving n/a.
