Yes i did,i called 3 times last month and i got 3 different answers!The last one was that security check not started,two other times they said was everything done and is already assigned to an agent for final stage!I think that they dont have access in our files they just see what we can see in My CIC,and for security check i think they do not have access at all!

My batchmate already got PPR last week. So I believe, I am in the loop of security check. Or they didn't touch my file who knows.

Received passport request Feb 2nd @ 10 pm. However, request is only for me to send passport to Ottawa. I added my wife in my application (who is outside of Canada). Now will have to write an email to CIC to arrange her visa at local visa office as stated in the email - Is there anyone with similar case - do I have to write something specific in that email?

Below is my timeline:
Application received: Aug 22nd, 2016.
Medical submitted: Nov 17th, 2017
PPR: Feb 2nd, 2018.

CIC website still shows BGIP and application in process.

Talk to CIC first or may be Web Form. But I think you added your wife at the late stage. I am assuming they haven't added your wife as your dependent yet (I hope I am wrong). But if you already had with her medical done then its just a mistake from CIC end

One of my friend applied under H&C (humanitarian and compassionate). He has got his file number and he wants to link his account in GCKEY (Online account). So he went to the link to join his account and choose the first step as PR but on the 2nd drop down menu there are lots of options to choose. Does anyone know which option should he pick for H&C ?

Sent my passport on the same day receiving ppr email, how long does it take to get back to me? my work permit expired on Jan 31 so had to apply for an extension before that and paid $250 so want to know when i can get the passport back so i can cancel the work permit application and get my money bac.
