I called cic.waited 40 Mins Passed medical nd the agent told me only security is left.

I'm on the same boat.... we are almost there!

It's shown "Update" after I submitted my medical, and my status has changed from Medical passed. However, last week, I saw an "Update", but there was no change on my status. My background is N/A still.

I am on the same boat. It's shown "submitted" now and no change at all this week. My medical passed, and I am waiting for background check. Hope there is an updated soon. Good luck.

wondering if anybody who applied in nov 2016 got medical request. seems like no one is getting ppr even with 17 months now . so stupid and frustrating dont know what they even doing

I did my medical on 16 nov and told I called my doc they told that they have submitted the file but their is no update on my cic account it saying we are reviewing the result of the medical can some body help me out how much time cic take after submission

It takes little over 2 weeks. Wait for few more days and see if it changes. If I were you, I would send copy of medical recepiet received from your panel physician via CSE as well.

i am a august 2016 applicant. got my MR this month and it says passed on mycic account. i had applied for my 2nd bowp which i was approved last week. they issued me a bowp for only 7 months. (6 months after expiry of my current wp). all my friends got 1 year bowp even though it was their 2nd too. is this something to be concerned about?

Aug 2016 AINP applicant here as well. Just passed MR, waiting for PPR and my first BOWP is going to expire end of Jan which is the 16/17 month mark since AOR. From what I read on the CIC website, applicants in our situation can continue to work and stay in Canada after the expiration of the BOWP under an "implied status" to wait for the PNP federal application verdict. I actually tried to apply for a second BOWP a while ago but there was no such option for a "second" BOWP, the only option to apply a second BOWP is as if you are applying to a BOWP for the first time which requires the provincial nomination letter that has likely long expired and a job offer which doesn't make sense for people who lost their job after they had established their federal application as well as contradicting to the "Open" part of the BOWP. My question to you is how did you get your second BOWP? My understanding is that it is a waste of money and you could just continue to wait and work normally until your federal PR grant/decision after the expiration of your current BOWP...

So I applied for MY Second BOWP last week. I have pnp 2016 august going on , I ghave been nominated for express entry as well so i was aeligible for both . I attached both AOR and and PNP as well. your PNP was expired for applying for PR not for BOWP.
