I got my MR october 10th. When I called the doctor she said she had time only on october 20th, but the next day they called me and said they had an opening for october 12th if I wanted. So yeah, it was pretty easyHi what is he date of your medical request ? Were you able to find an appointment easily ? Please clarify.
thanks for the info. No, I am in Toronto area. I believe all doctors can do upfront once they have adopted eMedical.
i think you should as there are so many other people waiting as well for decision made and passport request.Hey folks, Aug-17-16 applicant here.
A question for you all:
I'm inland AINP applicant and waiting for my MR as a lot of you are and my current BOWP (bridging open work permit) is going to expire at the end of Jan-18, so should I apply for another BOWP? I tried to initiate an application online today, it didn't have such option other than the same option of applying for your first BOWP. I am already on my BOWP (not PGWP, not regular open work permit, it says" maintained as per R183(6) APR pending" on my permit) and I recently quit my job so I can not provide job offer proof as it is a required item for the first-timer BOWP application. My PR application timeline is going to reach 16 months mark in mid dec-17 (based on the mid Aug-16 AOR date) which is in 2 months, so should I just wait out and don't even bother getting any other work permit extension?
Any thoughts or info from experience are appreciated. Good luck to all of us on the waiting game!
Hey guys my husband and I are AINP September 20 2016 applicants received AOR in December 2016, additional documents were requested for spouse in Februrary 2017 after that we have not heard anything...
I keep seeing persons doing upfront medical and was wondering if we should go ahead and do our upfront medical so I went on the CIC website to find out where I could go to get it done.
My husband is the main applicant and he is inland and I'm in Jamaica, when I went on the site I saw this notice.....
Are you applying to sponsor your spouse, partner or child?
A new application process for the spousal sponsorship program came into effect on December 15, 2016. Upfront medical exams are no longer needed for spouses, partners or dependent children. To help avoid delays in processing, wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam.
Find more information on what to do about your medical exam.
Is there anyone that can shed some light on this please?
Thank you for clearing that up for meThe below is for sponsorship application, that is a pr/citizen filing for someone. So it doesn't apply to other categories like PR PNP application and so on. Though it is advised that you wait till a request before doing the test because of the one year validity. You guys can go ahead since the application is already one year.
August 18 2106 inland applicant and no MR request yet. Please is it too late for me to start express entry application?
