For me they took only one week. For extention...28 January i got reply on my web form enquiry... that they have requested to extend the medical... and 6th February got PPR...14th December 2016.

My spouse medical expired yesterday and mine on 11th. Dont know when this while process will end on happy note. Ill be finishing 26 months on 7th of March. This timeline is so frustrating

Hey, I just got an immigration response... THEY ARE DECIDING WHETHER OR NOT MEDICAL NEED TO BE RE-DONE (IT WILL EXPIRE IN MARCH 4, 2019).
Now I have just a few steps...
* until they decide - 2 weeks
* if send, schedule a doctor - 1 week
* Wait for the result - 2 days
* send to them - 1 day
* they analyze - 2 weeks
* decide - 2 weeks
* queue to be sent - 2 weeks
* got PPR - 1 day
* I sent Passport - 1 day
* Process got there and send passport back - 2 weeks

That is the timeline that I have in mind.

I am talking about more than 80 days, and almost 29 months.

Looks like never ends.

I know a lot of us are in the same situation, but it so frustrating that timeline.

I hope to not get a new medical exam, it's more 900 CAD bill.

:-(
