No i applied on cic website and I already got it last month but I just received this email today

I already got my work permit extended i called cic in dec he told me he will write note to officer regarding my pr file. As i m over my processing time and officer didnt started security screening. since august immigration officers keep saying everything passed security not started. And still same.

Okay I received yesterday. Whsts your timeline? N if you dont mind can you please let me know what did you applied recently means BOWP OR ON CIC WEBSITE. Or you called cic agent. Sorry to ask so many questions i m just concerned why i got this email as I called in dec 2018 to know my file status and agent already told me over phone. So why this email!!!

I already got my work permit extended i called cic in dec he told me he will write note to officer regarding my pr file. As i m over my processing time and officer didnt started security screening. since august immigration officers keep saying everything passed security not started. And still same.

Actually, one week after this email , I received an email about the approval of my BOWP (Nov. 19, 2018). Apparently, the office that processes work/study permit is different, and asks immigration section to know if the applicant still has an active PR application with them to issue bridging work permit. So, they send a cc email to the applicant as well.

Police certificate of Singapore as I stayed in singapore for 1.5 yr in 11 Nov 2017. Medicals request : Mar 3-2018. CV request: 11 May 2019. Called CIC on Feb 1. All assesments done and passed. Got status request that email which you got. Still waiting. If your BOWP expires in about a month, put application, show the Online account status that its still in processing. Most of the times, they will extend for 1 more year. but put application before it expires. I put almost a month before. Mine current BOWP expires in June 1, 2019.

Oh thats too much late. What they are doing without security screening these many years without any reason or dusting in the office or what?. Its so sad. Hope we should get soon everything by this month.

Jan 27, 2017 applicant.. Still have not heard anything back. I'm now on a TRP for just 5 months so I can't work, study or leave the country.
