Any PPR?
I again emailed My local MP and he replied that still my file is under security check and there is no time line on it! This is really frustration part.
I am Jan 3 2017 applicant
 
File received by IRCC - November 2016
Federal file number issued - January 2017
Got closed work permit based on SINP - April 2017 for 2 years
Asked for Schedule A - April 2017
Asked for Medical - January 2018
Went to India in February 2018 and got married
Asked for Schedule A - March 2018
Informed IRCC for spouse update - March 2018
Asked for correspondence ( Documents to add spouse which icludes upfront medical) - March 2018
File was fully uploaded with spouse information in April 2018
File moved to Winnipeg IRCC office on 1 August 2018. Same time got a request for medical (again), schedule A for both, offer of employment, education credentials, language ability, proof of funds, police clearance and additional family information.
Documents received by CIC by the end of September.
Called CIC in the first week of October and was informed by the agent that my file is in Ottawa office

I have 2 doubts if anybody can answer that would be great
1. Usually after Winnipeg office file goes to Etobicoke office and then to Ottawa. Why mine goes directly to Ottawa? Will it be send to Etobicoke office after? How much more time should I have to wait for passport request?
2. My closed work permit is expiring on 2nd April 2019. I can apply for new work permit (open work permit) in December, of i am not wrong. My question : Is it possible to go on border and get the WP right away or should I have to apply online and wait for it?

If anyone can answer these questions would be great.

AOR on March 13, 2017.
criminal record requested on October 22, 2017.
1st MR Feb. 28
Medical done Mar 2 2018
CIC change to MR Not needed Mar 11 2018
2nd MR Mar 12 2018
requested to update schedule A on September 18, 2018

No PPR, No decision made, No updates
just about to lose faith

Received an email from CIC conforming landing appointment at local Canada Place on Nov 02 2018 (Strange)
went there yesterday on the Nov 15 2018 and became a PR

Both ECAS and CIC account changed to complete after landing.

Good luck everybody!

Congrats! I applied just 2 days after you, but have not heard anything from CIC since Maybwhen my medical passed. I also had 2 medical requests.
What do you mean by a local Canada Place? A Service Canada office?

i think i mistyped the last comment. what i meant you said you applied 70 days ago, did you get bowp?
 
Hi. I was filling out bowp application online but I am confused on what to answer to these questions as I have read multiple posts on this website and its confusing. Can you all help me out so I dont mess up please. Thank you. :)

Here are the confusions I have:
1. Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada? YES or NO
I replied Yes to it. Because I have AOR. Did I do it right?

2. Do you have a written job offer? YES or NO
I initially did Yes. Then I did No. Because I have open workpermit. And yes I have a job not an offer but according to the condiitons on my work permit and PNP as well, I didnt need to have a job offer to work.
If I do yes for this, it asks for offer of employment and also for PNP support letter and PNP certificate, which I read somewhere I dont need because I have a PNP certificate. If I say no, I get no option to attach PNP certificate or PNP support letter. What should I do?

3. If I do need a PNP support letter, where can I apply for PNP support letter?

Please help me with this. Thank you.

As far as I remember, for Q.1 I picked YES. For Q.2 you should check NO off as you have OWP. for Q.3, I just attached my PNP nomination letter issued almost two years ago as well as a print screen scanned from the status of my PR application, the one says you have passed your medical exam and other things (criminality, eligibility, security check, etc.) are in process.

Thank you. Please let me know once you get your BOWP. I will start working on the application asap.
 
I got my eCAS status changed from In process to Application received. I don't understand why they put me backward , as I have passed my medical and waiting for my PPR. Dose it means my file transfer to LVO . I don't understand what this mean. I applied on Sep 2017.Paper based PNP. Please help me out, anyone knows about this.

i think they are updating your file. looks progress. you might be getting ppr soon.
