7 feb 2017 ..they asked for new passport photocopies after medical , nothing after that, waiting and waiting ,hope everyday that today is the day.
more then 6 months no job no work-permit , waiting for visitor visa
cic and ainp wont tell anything , just told me to wait and wait bg going on , waiting on last check,
where is hope ? i dont even know it will come or not ..7 years of work and dream vanishing just like that.did nothing wrong , not even a traffic ticket ,

April 10 2018 medical pass after that no update no additional document request. When ever I call cic they say there is no valid reason for holding your file we will put note to officer . Still no update .

Waste my almost 2 years just for PR . It’s been 7 years in Canada never went back home because study then work now PR . This wait when ever end I have no idea but that day gonna be really big day for me . It’s become a challenge now

How long it took to get approved ? My work permit will be expiring in March 2019, should i apply for new open at the end of December 2018?

You can do flag polling also to extend your work permit.

You can go for flag polling to get a new work permit but make sure u have valid work permit. Usually people use this method when they dnt have much time to get work prrmit by applying online

Its same as getting pr . But instead of pr u will get work permit. In my case my employer paid some fee and gave me confirmation number for that. I filled all my forms and went to border. When u go to America they will ask y are u crossing border. Tell them u are here for flag polling . They will do some processing and then u will enter in Canada then they will give u work permit
