I dont remember exact time period but if you apply before your status expires all good you can work even your work permit get expire . You can check online as well.

Yeah I know I can continue working for my current employer. but my case is that I got a job offer from another company a few days ago, the company requests my new work permit, otherwise they are not able to continue hiring process.

@Samslk @Therisaw I'm not withdrawing my application either. I just wanted to submit a new one. Although now knowing that there are delays in EE too, I am having second thoughts.

I think you should just continue waiting, but if you decide to submit another one that’s fine too, it’s just that you’ll have to pay the fee for it. Also I think there is a section that ask if you’ve ever applied before or received a nomination (I can’t fully remember the wording), not sure what the options will be if you say yes to that question.

@marisiaMS yeah there is no other way then waiting . Hopes are going down everyday .

This month hopefully receive a golden email so that I can travel and see family as well . It’s really hard and stressful when you check your email everyday and nothing show up .

Why, there is another way. It is called getting a bunch of people together and suing the government. This is how change is effected in Canada. I wish we, the applicants we're organized enough for that.

I live in BC too, I also ordered notes from May or June can’t remember and i’m yet to receive it. Everything with them takes forever.

No I am still single and no bad records of criminal charges and nothing change on my background.

Same here single applicant . Never travel outside Canada from last 6 years . No criminal record . I am so unhappy at least they should process file within time period they provide . Everyday getting stressful when you see your application still in process.

Don’t even feel like calling CIC . They provide same information again and again and not helpful at all .
