While it was certainly a relief to hear over the phone I was approved I can't even celebrate properly because my current Visa expires on September 3rd so I'm just waiting to see wether the PPR will arrive and will be processed before then.

I don't want to give them an extra dime for another Visa at this point, I still feel robbed for paying 1500 for a Nomination and waiting 10 months to get it only to be throw at the end of the line and given another 19 months of waiting.

Most people can't really relate to how painful it is to have your entire life on hold for nearly 3 years but I'm confident most of us posting here will get it. They are just really, REALLY slow, unlike anything I've ever heard of.
Don't tell me you expected to become a residence in a new country for free... 1500 is nothing compared to what you can get in Canada. If I could pay thousands for becoming PR I would. I am also disappointed that they are this slow but I also understand how detailed they wanna look at each applicant. My family was trying to apply for PR for more than you but laws kept changing back then and it kept on getting delayed. So let's not whine and wait like everyone else here.

JAN 16 2017 still waiting for PPR.

I think CIC forget to issue PPR for December janurary and February applicants. They working on March and April .

Hope will receive PPR next year 2019 .

You will get PPR in this week or next week . Because you are going to complete 19-months processing time in this month.

I'm sorry but if you think that paying that amount and having your life on hold for over 30 months (and counting) when other categories pay much less and get it much faster constitutes "whining" I'll gladly accept the insult.
