One thing for sure that they can only enquire once in 2 months on same file.

MPs don't really do more than inquire about the status of your file. They get the same response as you would when you call IRCC yourself. Nothing special in my opinion.

No, you can go and ask your MP they will see whats goin on your file. M not sure if they talk to same agent as us. But he told me everything like my eligibility passed, waiting for background security

Honestly at this point I'm just hoping they keep their word and do it under 19 months. None of my friends in Canada can believe I'm still not a PR after all this time...

yeah i agree and it makes no matter even when you pass teh processing times nobody seems to know

When called they told well, that’s the decision by the officer they don’t need your dependents MR since they’ve done in 2017
June 18 ( I received MR request for my 2 kids)

I don’t know who these officers are and why they keep delaying the process. I’ll finish 18 months of processing time by next month and they are still asking me for submit this or that. I’m very disappointed with their judgement and work efficiency.

It's just mind-boggling how they process things in a timely manner for people that get married while us qualified immigrants have another completely different (and more expensive) type of service.

I know people who applied through their spouses around the time I applied for my Provincial Nomination and they have been Permanent Residents for over 2 years and many of them would get terrible IELTS scores, have no degrees in Canada and had no savings whatsoever.

I just have quick question for you guys i am Feb 2017 applicant and i am still waiting for PPR and my application status shows my eligibility and Background check is in process
Will they change my status from processing to completed once done(Background and eligibilty) or i will get PPR directly from Processing ???

I am jan 16 , 2017 applicant . Still waiting for PPR . Almost complete my 18 months in 26 days and now they change time period to 19 months . Even when I apply the proccesing time was 16 months . Keep changing the processing time and when you call CIC they not ready to provide any information. They just tell wait for result visa officer still have time to make a decision.

They should provide proper information to applicant so that he or She know what’s happening with file . Whole future depends on it and we only can wait nothing else .

I agree with you as same is happening with me i m january 7 applicant.
