Question 1: my application has
  • Details: Your Action Is Required
  • Message: none.
Where should I see the action? Should I assume it is Medical Request? How do people get medical request (email?)

Question 2:
I also got an reminder email from <Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca> to remind me if I haven't sent the following. If I did, I could ignore the email.
  • passport (only send if being requested)
  • policy certificates (I already submitted with the application)
  • schedule A (I already submitted)
  • RPRF fee $490.
Upon receiving this email, I had not paid RPRF fee. So I did pay the $490 right away. Is this normal?

Thank you
Hi,
I am in the same boat but I'm AINP nominee.

Question 1: It has been some problems with the system in the past days I passed from medical requested to If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you but the application status never came back from Your action is required.

Yes the medical should come like a message in mycic or email.

Question 2: Yes is normal, I paid and sent the receipt as they asked in that letter using case specific enquire.

Good luck and fingers crossed for soon medical request!

Hello,

I was just asked to pay RPRF (Right of permanent residence fee). I applied for permanent residence via AINP in February 2017. The question is - how much time does it take to get PR after paying this fee? I just paid it yesterday but can not find any information about the processing time from that point. Anybody having some recent experience? Thanks a lot guys!

In my opinion, if you are already requested for RPRF payment I think you should pay right away and upload the receipt to your GCKey account immediately because that is an essential required document for processing Visa.
I believe you only have 30days to do so, same with MR.
It will be refunded if any issue arises. But nobody wants a refund though, as it means refusal of application, etc.
Thank you for the advice. I paid the fee and also sent its receipt

Does anybody know if I can do upfront medical exam while waiting for the application to be processed?
And how do I submit it then? By case specific enquiry?
I applied in January AINP paper based.

Thanks

I have been sent reminder email for RPRF, Schedule A, PP and PCC. Im an inland applicant.
1) Do I need to submit PCC from Canada as well ? I have been living here since 3 years.
2) I paid RPRF fee upfront with other fees and receipt was sent with the package. Do I need to update CIC with the receipt again ?

Hi Joan, yeah it will come the least you expect it. God will surprise you one day. As far as i know (not sure though) after visa stamping you are given only 30 days to land in Canada. As for the ticket, the range would be from USD 650 up, right now there are promo on Cathay, China Eastern and PAL. But for ours, we might go to US first and spend 1 or 2 weeks to buy winter jackets and some other stuff (mas mura kasi dun) and visit my wife's family as well.

Just keep praying, ika nga sa Aldub sa tamang panahon :)

Thank you for lifting up my spirit. ^^. and thank you for the advise. I hope the 30days allowable time period to fly to Canada can be extended, if ever I will fly by November this year, I have to fix yet some things. ♥

Is it true after receiving the VISA only 1 month is allowed to leave for Canada?
Some says it should be within 1 year after medical exam?

Did you sent it through GCkey account or CSE? It is not allowing me to upload via mycic....the webpage errors out.

U have a year to land from medical..

Jovitoby, dont share things u are not sure of..

Apologies besbi, i just got this info from my relatives in WPG. Anyhow I will give update with this regards once I receive my passport back :)

Additional info for MVO applicants who will send their passport, they're very strict with photo dimensions, make sure that it is exact (i mean very exact) with their required dimensions, any millimeter of excess will make you retake the picture.

Cheers
