Guys I got my application approved. MP helped me to get it done faster and also I email both MP and Ircc that i am being depressed and it is affecting my performance. I got in 10 days of emailing them both. Good luck to all.

Sorry to fade your dreams. For my experience they are not working according to received date. I am Feb 12 2017 applicant and I got the golden email only few weeks ago while other people applied in Jan or Dec 2016 (or even before) are still waiting. On the other hand people applied after me they got golden email months ago...so there is no rule. Depends on the officer, depends how long security is completed, depends if you travel a lot across countries, depends if you have dependents. This is my opinion.

No need to say sorry but I already got my PR i m june 2017 applicant.. for most of applicants they are working according to received date... as u said one of my friend she applied in july 2016 still waiting

Jan 16 2017 still waiting for PR.

What’s wrong with them . No more hopes left seriously . I am so disappointed with the process and no explanation is given by anyone about delay .

I think health is more important then anything else but stress for PR I surely can’t handle anymore . That’s really too much almost 2 years to process PR file with no decision made and they already issue PR of applicants who apply after January 2016 . Unfair and unprofessional.

I sent them a csi about 2 months ago, describing all the hardship that the delay is causing me. They said, "Your inquiry has already been answered". Like, wtf. So, they don't care about my suffering. I suspect that your PPR coming shortly after your web form may have been a coincidence. Or they forgot about you, and you reminded them about yourself, so they gave you PPR.

i also believe that they work according to first come first serve basis. the ones you talking about people not getting it done early according to their dates is because they choose to do something in between the process which may cause delays for months like marriage or change job address kinda stuff or because they did something wrong with their app which they do not know about and Cic has to correct it and verify it for their safety so it puts them back in the long queue which we all have to suffer. it is a complex situation that we can never understand.i am going thru it too.my experience so far and its crazy.
