I ask so many people about this everyone told me while 20 months is already done and withdraw file and apply in express entry in not a good option to do so .

Moreover I have to give my Ielts exam again and create new profile under express entry.

I have seen so many people apply in express entry waiting for year to get PPR. So waiting is the only option left for everyone .

Don’t withdraw the application. Make sure u have extended work permit for next 2 years and side by side do express entry.

I think they stop giving PPR . No updates and haven’t seen anyone receive PPR request on page so far . What’s wrong with them why they wasting everyone precious time.

I am jan 16 2017 still waiting for PPR and it’s getting really hard Day by day .

This age is to do something and secure your future and plan for it. I am here in Canada from last 6 years . I think CIC should understand they ruining so many young people future due to slow process .

I completely agree with you. It's really frustrating to wait for 18 months just to get your PR. Having said that, did you check with CIC/ MP on why it's taking so long? Is there any additional security check going on? What's your MR date?

They don't care at all. When you call them, they tell you that they do everything they can. What a load of baloney.

My 19 months will be up on 8th September. When I contact them , if I dont get any update from them, I will let you know.

It’s getting really frustrating now . Why CIC doing this with us I don’t understand stand . Just for residency they going through so much investigation that it took 2 years and file still in process . Doesn’t make any sense to me .

everyone write to immigration minister Ahmed hussen also to local member of parliament. what type bustered checking they need which are doing in 18 to 20 month . maximum jan to march 17 applicant got ppr and now landed. then now start ppr for may 17 applicant. any guilty or mistaken by applicant why not tell and also visa office can reject .
why they kill some of applicant valuable future. now time come to avoid canada migration for their stopid processing time for paper based.

I'm Nov 2016 applicant and my application is still in background check!
My work permit is gong to expire in two months and I have to apply for bridge work permit.
One of the documents needed for BOWP is "Proof of Medical exam". I did my medical in Jan 2018, and do not know what should I send as the proof of the exam. Can anyone help me?
