Got the request letter specifically asking for that in MyCIC account. I didn’t submit the RCMP criminal record check initially as I understood it wasn’t required then (unless they advise you to submit it when processing your application). Status changed to N/A within 8 hrs of submission via MyCIC account.

Timeline:
Application received in January 2017
AOR in March
RPRF in July
RCMP record check in September
Awaiting medical and passport request.

To upload docs via MyCIC:

Login > check status and messages > view submitted applications > upload your file > sign and transmit.

If they requested a document from you, you should be able to see the requested document name and upload link once you click on view submitted application.

Great to hear our applications are moving along. In your case, they may not have needed any updates since you submitted everything correctly back when you received reminder email. From what I hear, when the background changes to NA, it suggests our eligibility and criminality has passed.

I got notification about an update to mycic account on my email, but the actual letter was received in mycic itself.

After seeing many threads, I observed that right now July/Aug/Sep 2016 applicants are getting medical requests. It’s look like we have to wait for at least 5-6 months for medical..

Hi,

I am Jan 2017 applicant, AINP, AOR - March 2017 and my background status is still showing "We are processing your BG". Not sure if that's good or not.

I also received a reminder letter in back in June 2017 asking for Passport, Police Certificate, Sch A, RPRF. At the end of the letter it stated "If you have already completed all of the requirements mentioned above you can ignore this letter". Since I have sent everything, including RPRF since the beginning of the application, I didn't send more information after receiving the letter.

We'll see how it goes.

How you did the upfront medical?. You don't need a letter from IRCC in order to do it?
