Congratulations Nicolas. I have a question for you Nicolas. So, if anyone comes from a country where does not require a specific VISA to travel to Canada, he or she does not need to mail the original passport to IRCC? In fact, I was not aware of that. Could you verify it for me?
Yes, that is it, no need to send your original passport. Here is the part of the email:
If you are holder of passport(s) from countries whose citizens need an eTA to travel to Canada or a holder of passport(s) from the United States, you will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your original passport(s). Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 6 months.

Please note that these instructions apply to passport holders from Mexico as well, who, as of December 1, 2016 , do not require a visa to enter Canada.

Thank you millions Nicolas. It is indeed such a wonderful information for me. I do hope all the rest of your PR processing will go smoothly. One more time, very much appreciate for your kind verification. Cheers,

Hi guys,

Does anyone know that if it's possible to apply for a bridging open work permit based on a closed work permit?

I'm currently holding a closed work permit and it expires by the end of June. I'm Jan 19th applicant, still waiting for ppr...

Adding spouse will prolong your processing time approximately 5-6 months

Jan 16 still waiting . It feel like it never gonna come . Can’t wait more and CIC keep changing time period for processing.

19 months waiting for PR is not worth at all .
