Please advice

1) Planning to send the scanned copies of PCC via case specific enquiry.
Is there any way that we will know whether they recieved it or not.

2) Also just wondering whether I can apply for a open work permit for my wife who is here in Canada on a visit visa .. Am under semi skilled

Start Processing Application: February 25, 2016.
Received.Medical results : June 1st, 2016
RPRF : June 1st, 2016.

Not here to discourage anyone but to let you know October, 2015 applicants just started receiving MR while November is still waiting for their Medical Request email after paying the RPRF fees in July. So, don't expect MR anytime soon but who knows? CIC might pick up again

I applied my pr application to cic on MARCH 10 2016
AOR RECEIVED ON april 15 2016....my application id processed in outside Canada(INDIA) as I was in india when I submitted my file... But now I m in Canada. Some of my friends who submitted in Canada around the same time got pcc request and landing fee request....But I didn't get any thing....WHERE IS FAST PROCESSING ? IN INDIA OR CANADA?PLEASE help me...................................

CIC requested additional police certificate (which I don't need to provide): Sept 02 2016
Provided supporting documents re/ police certificate: Sept 06
Application status change: sept 13. not sure what changed.....
Called help centre Sept 22 - rep confirmed there was a note under my application say 'NOT need to provide police certificate', but status did change, still shows "need additional documents from applicant"

Waiting for ME, I guess

BTW - just got laid off. Any impacts on my PR application??
