I heard some can take weeks or months.. Seems like a lot of us got our BG check changed into in process last week. Mine changed last Friday too and I'm Apr 13 applicant.

my background is very simple, single, non religious, never worked in government, military. never been in any dangerous countries... They may actuall lost my files

I'm a March 14 applicant. I think they just change the status to show us that they are working on it, but they are not...

LOLOL, the fact that a bunch of Jan applicants are still waiting to hear their news makes me think so too.

We have passed the PNP stage for so long we may not have the most updated information. You may want to check out Nova Scotia's official website. I think this is the one: http://novascotiaimmigration.com/move-here/

If you want to explore other province's nominee program, best option is to search for their provincial website and look up the information from there.

Thank you so much for your help, I call cic today they said they are doing my background check now. But I am so confused because I thought if they send me ppr that means they finished background check already right. I guess that is why they hold my passport for so long(they received it 7/10). So worry about what will happen.

Even if we get ppr we still need to wait, if you are not lucky like me wait for passport return for almost one month now. Why can't cic just put our information in their system? send them passport and get visa and then go landing is just more work for everyone.
