PNP - PR - Jan-Feb-March 2016 Applicants

I am Alberta resident
My decision was made on April 13,2017 I called to CIC couple of time they replied your file is in queue for preparing COPR.
I requested GCMS notes on May 16, 2017 and received on June 14,2017 I GCMS notes I noticed that when my decision was made and file transfer to issue visa but my file was not assigned to any visa officer (my file was floating for 2 months) on June 14, 2017 I went to MP office and discussed that issue with his secretary. He said we will send them enquiry about your file you may drop by to our office next week for follow up. But I received PPR request today.

congratulations. i have similar situation DM on April 4 , I got GMC it show pr number, I called last friday CIC and they said I got the pr but I need wait til receive PPR email. I sent enquiry on cic web for time longer than normal. I think maybe is the same situation like you. unbelivable more than 17 months. I hope figure out my process soon

JAN 4th 2016 applicant, almost 18 month, BG still not Applicable.
This is what I got from the MP:
The security verifications have not yet been initiated.
The file was referred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario for further assessment on June 1, 2017.
How long for PPR?

I got DM On April 4 17 and I am still waiting for PPR more than 2 months. good luck

How contact the MP office?

Someone said when received GSMC, there was indicated
- criminality - passed (or not started)
- security - passed (or not started)

But my GSMC showed different, it was:
Eligibility - passed
criminality - passed
security - ......nothing....just unfilled space...

and I dont understand what is it - started or not started or passed or.....what???

My application was received on 31st March. So it seems it's almost April.
Any ideas why so late processing for OINP applicants compared to others?

You didnt mention year before so people thought ur EE.

we have sent our Passports for visa stamping. but the status in CIC remains the same. is this how its suppoed to be?

I think the reason he assumes you're express entry is because you got pr in 6 months, which is 1/3rd of the time it is taking everyone else. The only explanation I can think if you applied via PNP is you are coming from an "at risk" country? Most Ukrainians I know also got their PR within 6 months whereas everyone else takes 3x as long.

it took almost 17 months.. not 6 months.

I said you are EE because you received "ITA" that is only EE no paper aplication. Other thing is you received AOR the same day of "online" aplication, paper aplication receive AOR between 1 and 3 months.
Brother you are EE but no worries you are welcome here!

we applied on Jan 2016. received ITA in JAn 2017. so it took 1 full year and not 6 months. my mistake i didnt mention the applied date.

I completed 95 days since my AOR today . BG check started on 12th may (39 days passed). , CIC received data is Feb 1, 2017 (139 days) Still Waiting for Medical

You are including your time for your PNP application and nomination as well as your PR application. This thread refers to PR application only, everyone got nominated before they applied for PR. So when it says Jan/Feb/Mar applicants it means that's when they applied for PR, in 2016, you applied in Dec 2016 so, yes, it's been 6months only for you.

I recommend you to contact MP. Find your local MP using below mentioned link. I went to MP office and just explained my situation to his secretary
