I received the same reply. 100% same. They just copy and paste!!!

Did you send an email to your MP or went to see him in person? How long did it take to get a response from the MP office?
I just sent a very long email, and the MP's secret replied to me within one hour.
The secret said he called IRCC, and urged them to process my case.
Finally, he did the trick.

How long does it take to get DM or PPR after background changes to in progress?

It looks like they are processing an application a day. Like this people that applied later in 2016 will have to wait for the eternity to get their PPR. Tomorrow I will be completing 15 months since CIC received my application.
