This is upsetting. I got laid off just last week. Not sure if the change of my employment has any impact on

1 - bridging open work permit
2 - PR application under PNP

I got AOR in March 2016. Early Sept, I received a message from CIC to request a police certificate from a third country. But I didn't stay that country over 6 months so I sent a case specific inquire to explain. 2 weeks later, I received an email indicated that the documents I provided was forwarded to an officer and Days later I received an email says there's an update on my account..as a logged in it still shows 'need additional doc from applicant. Not sure long home it will take to update my application after I provided the explanation to CIC. Hope I will be cot acted soon for medical exam

I am sorry to hear that, if your PNP nomination is an open nomination, this should not affect your immigration file or work permit application.
If it is closed then it may become a little complicated. CIC usually does not bother with employment status, their job is to do background, medical and criminal checks but some time employment may be looked into. You should not take any chances and contact an immigration lawyer asap and get their advice on this.
Good luck!

It does not affect your application in any way. Linking your application only helps you getting better notification and updates on your file.

Thanks a lot coz I was worried .
Anyways we will keep on trying to link

Tired of waiting for MAGICAL emails. Going for upfront medicals. Decided to update medicals through case specific enquiry. Booked appointment for Oct 12th.

Lets see, we might get MR before that.

How do you find a place that does the Medical for immigration, and how do you book the appointments for an upfront Medical Exam?
I am an MPNP applicant, and i'm just curious as to how the whole process goes.
If you could provide any links, that would be great.

Find Panel Physicians (http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx) in your city. Call them and ask whether they do eMedicals or not. If they have eMedicals facility, they can update our reports electronically to CIC. Which is fast and accurate.

Due to we are going for upfront medicals, clinic will consider us as Express Entry. When they do our tests, they will generate UMI number. Which is unique. Clinic also gives us a document which states that we done our medicals with them. Clinic holds takes our pictures and holds our reports.

We have to upload our UMI number and medicals confirmation to CIC through case specific enquiry. When our turn come, CIC will look at our UMI and requests respective clinic to provide our reports. Clinic will send our reports as soon as CIC requests. This way hopefully we will save approximately Two weeks process time.

Hi hammer we applied pnp PR in Feb
Also got file # Ep
But we are unable to link the application.
If we don't link it does it effect in any way?
By "we" i am assuming you applied with your spouse. I was having same kind of difficulty but eventually i was able to link my application with my online account.
Here is what i did:
I skipped City of Birth and country of birth and for number of applicants i used "1" instead of 2. Try it, i hope it works for you.

Hey everyone,

I sent in my application for permanent residence on February 8, 2016.
CIC sent AOR for my application on April 15, 2016 and starting processing April 16, 2016.
I received a email remainder on September 26 2016 to submit my RPRF fee, New Schedule A and police certificate. I have till Oct 26 to submit all 2 documents.

1. Will it be ok to submit a RCMP police report from October 15 2016 or do i need to do a new police report ?
2. Secondly, when do i do my Medicals as i thought i was suppose to do my medicals before they request my RPRF fee ? Should i go ahead and do my medicals in anticipation for a medical request ?
3. How do i submit the RPRF, schedule A and police report via MyCIC ? I am having trouble navigating my profile and still unable to link my profile to my application

Please help as i am frustrated with this whole immigration process.
