Just called CIC, the lady was nice and kind.

She helped me check my application and find out my security verification has been pending since May, which was my lastest update.

She said she would send a note to the officer and try to notice them.

Hopefully, It can help.

This is 4th time I called them, and I asked my MP to inquiry them too,

The answers I got before this time are same " your application is good, is under processing, we are doing security check"

Same as ur situation I’m march 24th 2016 applicant. I called CIC today she said everything passed and waiting for final decision. I have called CIC 3times from then on sep totally I’ve got same answer. It seems our March applicants files r not moving. I don’t have any idea. Just I would wish that finish this long journey in this year bf in Christmas. Which province r u??

With the current time frame, you could expect it for at least 18 months from your submitted day (12th June 2017)

Some members in this thread has been waiting since January 2016.. has been 20+ months for them. Your next step will be waiting for criminality to pass, then you will get Medical request. You can sometimes requesting GMCS notes for detailed status of your application.

Depends on which type of work permit you have. As long as you are in PR federal stage, you are eligible for bridge open work permit (1 year). I normally see outland applicants have longer waiting time than inland applicants

Mar24/16 applicant... will be in 19th month on Oct24/17... BG in process since Aug15/17...

as per latest GCMS notes received on Aug24/17... Appears all reqts met, PACE Office - CPC Ottawa...

but until now, still no updates from them... =(
my passport will be expiring in 8 months... Jun2018 to be exact.... and it will be take 10-12 weeks if I will renew my passport... technically if I will to renew my passport these days I might receive it on Jan2018...

do you think is there any possibility that we can get our DMs or PPRs before last week of November?
or is it safe to just renew my passport soonest?

I tried to email IRCC but I think this is just one of their general replies...

"your application is in the final states of review prior to finalization and a decision should be rendered shortly. unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be completed. it is your responsibility to acquire the necessary VISA(s) for visiting, working or studying in Canada while your PR application is being processed. we do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required."

What's the approximate timeline for inland applications.
My PR is in OINP (Ontario Provincial Nomination category) sponsored by company in Canada. I am on closed Work Permit binded with my company.Will my workpermit come under bridge open work permit.
