I see that January Applicants are still waiting for their PPR.. and we are Feb end March Applicants... don't know when will our turn come.. Anyone else who got their AOR on 25th April and still waiting ??

The Medical status changed from "Passed" to "Passed - Expired". Looks like it was not extended, I guess I will get
MR for my wife and kid again. Did anyone have like this situation?

My wife's criminality decision is still On Hold since October last year. CIC did not like her police certificate gained from Ukraine. I see it from the note - POLICE CERTIFICATE(UKRAINE)POTENTIAL ADVERSE INFORMATION. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED. But, CIC did not ask from me or her any information. Like even though she does not have criminal records at all or any other traffic tickets. This certificate was translated in Ukraine.

So guys my Background check is in Process according to My CIC account since I linked it on 1 June, 2016 last year, and never was Not Applicable. Did anyone in this tread experienced same situation and got PPR in time within 16 months?

MR - 4 April ( only for myself)
MR done - 10 April
MR passed - 19 Aprill
MR Passed - Expired 21 May
So, 14 months is already gone.

During this 14 months I received only invitation to link my application to My CIC ( I guess on 24 August) and MR recently. That is it....

Updated Schedule A of my wife I sent them in advance.
My daughter's copy of passport (new one) sent them in advance too. They did not ask them. No communication at all with CIC since that.

Mar 14 applicant, I got Background in process around August 2016, then it changed back to Not applicable. I guess that BC status doesnt matter. Did you try to get another Ukraine certificate for your wife. Maybe your certificate was not translated certifiedly ?

Mar 14 applicant, I got Background in process around August 2016, then it changed back to Not applicable. I guess that BC status doesnt matter. Did you try to get another Ukraine certificate for your wife. Maybe your certificate was not translated certifiedly ?

I did not order a new one. Like it is easy to get it. But, they did not ask it from me. And, according the notes I see that they did not send to me any request to get it and send them back.

All documents were translated here in Canada by certified translator, except a police certificate of my wife. I did not find any requirements to translated documents, like CIC does not prohibit to translate them in our home countries. Am I wrong?

Just got off the phone with the IRCC agent. This one was not as helpful as the one before, and I kind of suspect he didn't look too deep into my file.

Anyways, I asked if the security check was completed (My background check changed to in progress May 23), and he says no, they are still working on it and I will hear from them when they are ready to make a decision.

what a waste of 40 minutes of my life to get no useful information.

Some agents are good but some aren't, they always try to avoid more questions and in rush to hang up soon for the next waiting caller....
