Wtf...few people said i will get ppr after medicals in 20-25 days some say 5 months...what is correct huhhh

With cic u never know.
Theres is not specific time....they always change their methodology of process.

Just wait right now getting ppr is taking 15 to 16 months.

This morning my cic account looks like the following:-
Application/profile status Open Help
Review of eligibility Review in Progress Help
Review of medical results Not needed at this time Help
Review of submitted documents Provided Help
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time Help
A background check is needed Not needed at this time Help
Final decision Not Started

I am so worried dont know what is going on. My understanding is if background check is not needed it should also have changed medical to in progress. Dont know what it did not happen. Is it normal? Oh god please help.

My cic account is not often updated.
Dont worry all is good.

Just wait my friend that gor pr in jan told me cic take a while to update my cic account....but u will see changes.

Make screenshots of exactly every step of your attempts to link application, showing all the fields filled in correctly. Save those screenshots into a pdf file and attach it to your message via Case-spec. form. That's how I did it. They linked it in a cpl of weeks.
And cancel representative if u have one.

Eligibility criteria: Review in Progress
Background check: In Progress

Am seeing Decision made in E-CAS. But no updates in MYCIC. Any idea how many days it takes to get that updated in MYCIC and get PPR.

If u see Decision Made in Ecas it will take max 10 days to get PPR email...after email my cic will change pr after u got passport back with the COPR

Looks like there is no consistency in the process. We have sent information and applications in time and even then we have not received MR. People that submitted after us got MR before us while we wait like stupids. I hate it. One of my friend (married) submitted in Sep/Oct 2016 and have already got a MR.

All depends an which category/program people apply, their nationality and the countries they have live in during the past 10 years.

All these facts can speed or delay process.

Some countries take more time to provide canada gov the checks they need some are fast...etc!

Hi,
Status in ecas changed to Decision Made today and also in MyCIC account a new message with a letter attached. The letter is 7 pages (having 4 steps detailed and Annexure A & B). Step 1: Change in circumstances, Step 2: Passport requirements, Step3: Prepare your documents (asking for photos & passports), Step4: Submit your documents.
Annexure A: Update information chart

Can anyone please confirm if this letter is PPR or else.

That is passport Request.

Read carefully the letter.
It should say an address where to send ur passport or photocopies of it with pictures and Annex A filles with ur address and personal info.

Or sent enquiry through Case Specific Enquiry.

Still dint get the letter in MYCIC account yet bro. i got the decision made status in ECAS and no changes in MYCIC. so waiting for the letter.

1st change ecas to Decision made...after 10 days max i will get PPR email.

Ur my cic account wont be updated until you get ur passport back and ur Confirmation Of Permanent Residence...then my cic will change all to passed and application closed.

My friend got pr in jan and she told em this....she never got letter through my cic only letter of ppr on her email.

I am also waiting for my med request bro.. I submitted in feb and application was received on 26th Feb, 2016.

I called Eddie and the lady said there is nothing that she could do until the case go beyond the 16 month waiting period.

I guess I am not the only one waiting for MR from Feb. I applied 22nd Feb 16 and application was received on the 24th.

Have u call cic centre?

wait till the beginning of next month alot of jan applicants got their MR request after the 12 months had passed by. I got mine on 1st Feb and CIC had the file with them on 22nd jan
