I think so, my "Due Date" in GCMS is March 22 2017.. I hope to they make a decision before March 22 2017. but
my workpermit is expired on May 08 2017. so Do I have to extend work permit (BOWP)? or just wait? um... so complecate..

Pretty sure you have to apply for extension of your WP up to 30 days before its expiry, so you don't have to worry about it until April 8th (unless your conditions of stay have changed). You can, probably, also apply for bridge work permit (if you're in Canada).

No, CIC received my application on Jan 18, 2016. Still no MR, so sad

Started Processing the file on 30th March 2016
Got a general reminder on June 2016 for PCC i.e. if i had not submitted one just to submit it or renew my passport if it was to expire soon.

Work permit expires next month. Going to the border tomorrow for the renewal of the work permit.

God knows how much more one has to wait lol

Work permit expires next month. Going to the border tomorrow for the renewal of the work permit.

You have to order from "https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do" here!
also you should wait atleast 1 to 2month to get GCMS notes from CIC.

There are two options, through acess infomation act, which costs you $5, privacy act is free. You have to physically present in Canada to order.

If I am not wrong BOWP could not be issued at the order. They can only give you usual open and closed work permit but not BOWP.
