Hello guys,
I applied my federal file for PR under provincial nominee program in May,2015. last month i visited India and get married. Do i have to include my wife in my file or i can wait for my PR and after that i will apply her file. Actually, i am on bonded work permit and i want to get PR soon, so i could work somewhere else. Adding my wife in my current file will delay the process. So, my question is , Is there any cons in declaring my marital status after my PR? Additionally, i didn't get my marriage certificate in India yet, i just had the marriage ceremony. Please help me I'm in really biased situation.

Your marriage certificate will have the actual date you got married. I think the registration office verifies the date of the Marriage through wedding card etc. So later after your PR when you apply to sponsor her, you will have to submit your Marriage Certificate. What explanation are you going to give as to why you did not declare? The other option is to get married to her once again after your PR. Lol..kidding.

certainly heartbreaking..i just called cic today and the agent said they are still verifying my documents, 15 months was not the exact processing times for applications..don't know how long it will take,,all i can do is wait

The processing time is 15 months. Did you phoned them and ask for detailed information? Which province did you apply from. Do you apply with or without job? Did they request any additional documents from you? Did you request GCMS?

You are from Manila visa office I guess. That could be a reason. Visa offices have different processing times.

Yes, my visa office is Manila. But as you saw earlier( while CIC showed VO wise processing time) Manila VO was one of the fastest office in Asia.

According to GCMS note, my medical, verification is complete and eligibility, criminality and security yet not started. Last update date is 5 Feb 2016 and due date is 1 June 2016. I asked them why my due date is beyond normal processing time but they did not answer my question.

My eligibility is not complete but next due date 4 days ahead than you. Your VO is also Manila?
