finally permanent resident now. what an experience I had through out that long journey and learnt a lot about Canadian immigration.

my brief story as below:

came to Canada on student visa on dec 28,2010, finished study got 3 years open work permit, got mpnp in nov 2014, went back home and got married in jan 2015, came back to Canada & applied both PR on feb 9,2015. done all the stages for both of us at the same time i.e medical, police clearance etc. again went back home in feb 2016. the day I reached back home got PPR for both. sent email to OTTAWA to change VISA OFFICE to new delhi, got replied back after 2 weeks that visa office has been changed, sent both passports same day and got back both passport in 6 calendar days. now I've successfully landed and my better half is coming very soon. everything done on right time. good luck to everyone.

Congratulations to you!

You have shared here very useful info about changing Visa Office after you got PPR. Could you please tell me did you send email (about changing VO) through Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) or does CIO has specific email for this issue?
Also, how did you enter Canada, did you get PR Travel Document or PR card in India then you entered Canada??? I would appreciate if you could give me more detailed info how you entered Canada ?!!!

I sent an email at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and it was suggested by cic in ready for visa email

Delhi Canada high commission stick permanent resident visa one time entry on my passport and that what I use to travel and entered into Canada. didn't need to applied for any other documents

One of my coworker sent passport last tuesday and yesterday received COPR.
Today he was activate PR.
