Hello friends, i am july 2015 , inland applicant & recevied reminder email regarding sc-A form, rprf, passport copy & police certificate.
I need a help from u guys regarding police certificate. Today i visited to rcmp with my email to get police certificate and fingerprint, But rcmp guyz told me that u dont need to do fingerprint as in reminder email cic did not ask for fingerprint. He charged me for police certificate and told me come after 1 week to pick up police certificate.
So my 1.question is usually cic mention about fingerprint in reminder email??
2. Should i go to another rcmp office to do fingerprint or police certificate is good for my application?

No need for fimgerprints, they ask specifically for them if they want. I am a april 2015 applicant and I got a separate email 2 months before reminder email(9th november) asking for fingerprints, so dont worry

my question is- i am planning to go to INDIA, can i travel without my PR card once i landed?
is it ok if i have only pr paper proof when i take my trip ?

The immigration in Canada might not be a problem, but the airline might not allow you to go in.
Is india, part of visa exempt country?

After landing and become PR, you can travel out of Canada without PR card. You will need to apply PRTD (google it) and show it when you come back at port of entry.

no INDIA is not a visa exempt country, so i guess i have to apply for TDPR.

i just submitted rcmp police certificate not the fingers prints and i didn't even submit the police certificate for my wife in canada we got the passport request on March 1st 2016 don't worry gud luck
