No. Whose address is that, is it yours?

Really? Of course they need heads to process Syrian refugees. But it's unfair to stop or slow down the other categories of immigration. CIC should hire more people and improve their efficiency to deal with the refugee issue. :o

CIC asked me for additional information/new schedule 1 regarding my application. I mailed it ten days ago via express post. how long does it take for them to update ECAS?

Is there anyway, we can call their attention on this? Media or the Prime Minister? This is really unfair.

416 has arrived already...but not necessarily as a group.... 1451 visas have been issued.. but they have not arrived yet..11932 in progress..may be they consider a batch as a collective whole of a bigger number like 2000-3000 or so..altogether canada is welcoming 25000...govt consider this is a matter of their international recognition for their leadership and generosity..for sure thats their priority..otherwise its high time to get ppr for many of us...hopefully they will find any alternative from January..

From my point of view, that's there only priority for now...nothing else really matters to them...I don't understand why can't they balance it out a bit...

It is how government works with refugee, it is what it is. They promised it before election and it is important for them to keep the promise.
Why would they care about PNP? There are no magazines and TV reports saying that Federal Government don't give a thing about people that were chosen by provinces.
Noone is asking these inconvenient questions on TV/magazines and that's why they can easily neglect paper-based PNP until at least April 2016 or later.
Many CIC visa offices in Europe have 30+ months processing times. Would it be too bad for Trudeau if Sydney/Ottawa will shift processing times from 15 months to 30 for PNP? Ok maybe 30 is bad, but who would blame him for shifting it to 20?

Moreover, the huge budget is assigned for refugee settlement and adaptation and every province would be happy to get a big portion of this assigned money.
They also increased Express Entry draws last weeks, probably to report end-year low score as a success.

My recommendation is simple: find a good TV reporter and ask him to make a report about this ridiculous situation, where PNP people are hostages of pre-election promises.
I already see PNP people who had no choice except going home country because their employer is bankrupt and their work permits were closed. The longer we wait - the more PNP people will go home.
