Just in case somebody would be interested in update on that.
I've got *my* medical (not my wife's) just today, almost a month later and it is scanned copy of the form (not the original PDF where you can copy text and etc.). E-mail text is also different and looks more custom-written.

It seems like they forgot to send me my form, then received my wife's medical results and noticed that there is something missing

Will have to make another trip to Vancouver and this whole thing probably will increase the processing time for me as well

So, I've talked to CIC on the phone and they say it is normal since I haven't left Canada after my medical 3 years ago. My wife went to our home country last year. So, that is why I don't need a medical and she does need one.

Not sure how so many people go for a medical exam next day after the request. Looks like the earliest I can get in BC is in 10 days or so.

Guys,

I am an April applicant. In my CIC application, the status has changed to under process and a second line is added that " we started processing your application on July 7, 2015".

But I haven't got my MR yet, I have seen similar kind of responses for March applicants. So my question is generally in how many days I should expect MR and is it advisable to do MR in advance.
