Are you an inland applicant as well? Based on my observation, inland applicants tend to be left behind. Outland applicants get their EP file numbers and medical requests faster than inland applicants. From what province are you?

I'm also inland SINP app, application received on Feb 16, XEP on May 1, no trace of EP yet..

Application first received February 20th but was returned due to missing siganature.
Looks like I skipped the XEP part. ;D

There was no UCI number when I received XEP file number.
