Once they enter you should be getting an email saying EP, but I am seeing some people are getting XEP number again (happening recently).
I don't what exactly is going on. If I were you, I would call CIC.

I received my file number about 5 minutes before (April 24th 4.30 pm).
So I guess CIC is now back to its normal timeline.
It took only less than 2 months for me
It Friday evening....... Weekend!!! what more do you want than this
