Congratsss...you can start checking ur application status online with (Client Application Status) within a few days..it may take 2-3 days to get it activated. go to this link and login

Hello guys I just got my file number today they sent me file number start at XEP... when they will send the official AOR? can i use this file number applying work permit inside Canada? for I'am visitor permit holder now...

heres my timeline:

Application submitted: April 17, 2015
Application recieve CIO: April 21, 2015
AOR XEP recieve: July 6, 2015
Official AOR EP: waiting...

I've been trying to get into ECAS for months now after receiving my XEP and EP no. I keep getting the following info:

I've tried multiple identifcation types in the drop down with various codes we get sent ( UCI, application no., IME no etc).

Have any of you had the same screen when trying to access your information?

They asked for payslips too.but i dont have my contracts.i only have my appointment letter, bank statements,payslips,work order and my experience letter with job profile,duties,what can i do in job.so i will send all of it.
They asked for my original education transcripts.
And for proof of fund i will send my FD 's true copies by a notory lawyer.

Hey Harry_123, We almost have the same timetable. I applied on 22nd of April 2015. I got my XEP number today as well!!! So we will wait for the medical examination request next, right? Hopefully we would not wait for long time

I applied 20th april for a 2nd time and nothing...starting to get worried again...first time cic returned my application due to a payment issue and i applied december 8th 2014 ...lost 5 months... Hoping to hear anything.. otherwise will have to call them again and ask whats wrong again :-[

Happy to hear you have some progress happening.

My BF's application arrived at CIC on April 15th so hopefully he gets his XEP today as or in the next few days.

I know how you feel. Please keep us updated. I have a feeling your bf and my applications are processed by same staff unlike others forum members...

normally medical request comes 1 month later your ep no.
however they r unpredictable so cant say perfectly but u can expect between 30 to 40 days after your ep.

I got mine EP- 2 of July.

Two to three weeks. Expect it by July 18th to 25th
