Just to give everyone a perspective on how long it is taking CIO Sydney to process the applications:

After you send your complete PNP - PR application to Sydney, NS:


XEP: 70-85 Days after application submission
EP: 30-40 Days after receipt of XEP
Medical Request: 2-3 Days after receipt of EP
Online Tracking Activated: 2-3 days after receipt of medical request

This time line is based on 10 inland individuals on this Forum.

So if your application was complete with no additional paper work requests, you should see things move along according to this time line.
Be patient and hope for the best . Good Luck everyone.

I think Outland applicants get MR request after basic background check while inland applicant receive MR just after getting the EP AOR. So Outland applicant may get MR after 1-2 months of getting the EP AOR.

The MR depends on the VO that corresponds to your country.. In our case (outland Argentina), Mexico VO will procesed our visas.. They take upto 4 month to ask for medicals.. :'(

I can see lot's of people who got their XEP on April 24,2015 have already got their EP and medical request. I haven't heard anything after XEP. how long do i need to wait more for my EP and medical? ???

Hi guys. It's been one of my happiest week ever. We've got EP # on May 28th and.... this Saturday ( May 30th) at 10 a.m. we've received Medical Requests for both of us

I applied for my nomination through the BCPNP, I was nominated in January 2015. I applied for my PR application and received a confirmation of application on May 1st 2015 with an application number.

I wanted to know if we can track the application through the CIC online application status page?

Some people I know who have applied under different stream for PR and not through PNP can track the application at this link. Should this work for PNP candidates too?

Is your application number starts with XEP or EP? If it is XEP then its just a temporary file number. You will have to wait for another email for your EP file number and UCI which you will use for checking your application status online

Freinds i rec XEP no on 15th may and my DD had been charged on 26th may so what should i expect when should i received the EP AND UCI?? ANY SUGGESTION those whose dd have been deducted and how much time they took to send the UCI no

Guys, XEP is a temporary file number and you can't use it to see your application's status online but EP is a permanent file number (it is same to XEP number but it doesn't have the first X) and when you receive it along with your UCI (Unique Client Number), you can see your application's online status in CIC's ECAS system.

EP will be sent about 1 months later after XEP.

About 30 days after your XEP AOR, you will receive EP AOR and UCI.
