hi! I am january 2015 applicant,,still waiting for PPR and i am so worried if i have to do another medical..is there anyone you know who did another medical due to long process of application?

Well your medical exam is valid for 12 months, and if you don't become PR by then you may need to do it again. There are some good info on cic website about the medical exam validity. Did you ever try ordering GCMS notes?

yes! i did twice and our medicals are all expred by now, and still my application is IP....really frustrating

Hi Guys,

My friend has applied for PR(Jan 2016) after getting MPNP approved.He got AOR in March 2016. But checking on ecas it still does not recognises file number or UIC. So what could be the possible reason?

Hello Everyone! I haven't been here for a while and boy this thread is long! But I would like to share my case as I am getting really worried and frustrated now.
14 March 2015: received my nomination and applied for PR the next day
I can't even remember all the dates but since then:
-received an email confirmation
-paid the Right of PR fees
-gave all the requested documents (because also in between, got married and gave birth in October 2015)

December 2015: received an email and completed my medical exam

Since then: RADIO SILENCE

I don't know what is going on and I don't know if I can Travel outside of Canada or not?

I'm March 12 applicant and still waiting for PPR (no change to my application).
You got 2 more people added to the application so it may take longer than usual.
if your 15 months is over (which I think it is) you can call CIC.

You may wish to check your application status online, I guess it's over 15months, you can as well put a call across to them.

thanks! yeah im hoping too,,coz if they do..it will prolong again our application,,they keep on telling me that it will take 3 months for a medical to be processed..it sucks,,really,,for not knowing how long we would wait..

it supose to recorgnise it, tell him to fill the CIC ECAS log in with his UCI number, is date of birth and his surname, his ECAS page will be displayed instantly, unless if sometin is wrong, will advice him to mail CIC and complain in respect of the file number and the situation, they will respond

I made an update last month to both call center and email. But their answer was that my application is without timeline. It is very upsetting and stressful hearing IRCC answer us that the timeline are just guide. I even emailed PM Justin but was redirected to IM Mccallum. Question is why inform applicants of 15 months processing if they tell us afterwards that there is no timeline in our application after reaching 15 months. this my 6th month waiting for an update after providing additional medical request. My medical results expires in two weeks time.

Hi I Linked my application on june 8 yesterday I got email u r applicatuon has been updated when I opened my application before my review of medicals was passed but yesterday it showing not needed at this time.
I think my medicals were expired june 20 that's why it showing like this.
