I have a question regarding adding spouse to existing application.
I am going to get married soon and I would like to add my spouse in my application. Is it better to marry her now and add her to my file or is it better to marry her after i get my PR and apply later.
I am in confused situation now.
Please reply me if someone went through similar situation or know someone added their spouse while the application is being processed.
Thank you

Hi...i just check this thread. I saw you got correspondance letter. I also get same in my online profile. But i already sent my biometrics when i applied for pr. Do i have to send them again or they will update previous one. Plz reply to my ans as i am worried. Thanku
My advice is that if they asked for a document or something that you can produce or provide, why not do it? It will not hurt. I remember 5 years ago when I applied for study permit, I did upfront medicals then but they requested for medicals 2 months later. I did as they requested and rest is history.

Since your application just started, you should get married asap and add your spouse to your application, then both of you can have PR in about 12-15 months. If you add your spouse later then you need to wait 12-15 months until you get your PR, and then your spouse needs to wait for another 12-15 months to get his/her PR...
