So this is the second time they requested your job letter? I see the first time they requested it in June 2018. I'm sure you will receive PPR very soon. They must be tying up all the loose ends now before DM. Good luck, and please keep us updated!

Hi Everyone..

Finally received the Golden Email Today. So basically it's not a request for passport yet, however, Permanent Residence Application - Approval.

And my consultant informed me that in a day or two I will get the passport request as well.

My Timeline: SINP ( PAPER BASED APPLICATION)

Application Recieved - March 9, 2017.
AOR - April 21, 2017.
Add. Docs Requested - December 15, 2017.
Medical Request - March 2, 2018.
Medical results received - March 26, 2018
File transferred from NDVO to Vancouver CIC office - June 19, 2018.
Updated job letter submitted - July 10, 2018
File transferred from Vancouver to Winnipeg (Due to heavy workload) - September 29, 2018
Approval Email - November 20, 2018

I wish & pray for everybody on this forum and elsewhere to get the positive outcome of all the patience they have shown.

I just got a ghost update right now. I received pre arrival email 4 days ago too.
Do we get ppr after ghost update?
Or was the update something to do with the request documents that i send to them one week ago.

I need helps here with my GCMS notes email, there is a sentence saying :

Section(s) of the Act applied (if applicable): 21 The detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities, 26 information about another individual


Wonder if you guys who order gcms note email have this sentence??
why cic is treating me like a terrorist.....OMFG thats really frustraited

just got the approval in email
waiting for the actual hard copy of work permit to be delivered to my home.
