hi members,

i am new in this forum and i need some urgent clarifications from members please.

i am sinp oid applicant , got nominated in January 15th 2017. i sent in my pr application to cic in July 2017, but in October 2nd, i was sent a mail through my immigration consultant to submit a government approved marriage certificate as i previously submitted a church marriage certificate which cic rejected. the government approved certificate was quickly submitted to them by October 5th 2017.
since last October i have been waiting for my AOR but i have not gotten any further communication from cic.

please, has any one here experienced this type of delay as i am getting seriously worried.

thanks

so you didn't get AOR from July, 2017?

usually, it takes 45-60 days for getting AOR. surprisingly, In your case too long time. Call to CIC customer care or speak with your lawyer

the only correspondence was in October when they requested for government approved marriage certificate
so they asked additional document(marriage certificate) without AOR (file no)?

If they dint accept your church marriage certificate, then they would have sent your file back by post, please check with them.

I have received AOR and still they returned my file, because i dint have Government Birth Certificate (1970 Year Born and their were no Government issued at that time) so i submitted my Baptism Certs as replacement, but the request letter was to submit Affidavit instead.

I have re-applied in June 2017 and received AOR in August 2017

I am not trying to scare you bro, but is is a fact.
