Hi
OINP: Nov 2017
Submission of application via paper-courier: Feb 2, 2017
Application recieved: Feb 8, 2017
AOR: March 25th, 2017.

A few days ago the MR request changed to submit an MR on my CIC account but I got no email. Guess it was an error because now it says: "If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you."

Also, today I got an email asking to update the passport biopage, RPRF, also if any changes in schedule A or police certificates. I am an inland applicant. I have a few questions:

1. When I applied for PR I was living at a different address and then I moved a little further away. I changed to my new address online. But now they have asked for updated Schedule A especially part 8 and 12, so do I need to submit an updated Schedule A because my old one shows me previous address. Should I do this or since I already updated it online, this is not needed?

2. Secondly, I submitted police certificate from my home country. Do I need to submit a canadian police certificate? I am confused. If yes, can it be from any city in ontario or the current city I am residing in?

Please let me know soon, so I take next steps urgently. Thanks :)

Mine changed as well but on the main page it's now saying "Your Action Is Required", under the details section. When I check the status and messages of the application there is nothing though.
Same as it is.

I submitted NAC instead of Birth Certificate because I don't have one during my first submission and also got SNIP Nomination by submitting NAC.
But, CIC not accepting NAC in place of Birth Certificate, that's why they returned my application for missing documents.
NAC - Non- Availability of certificate

On behalf of my friend, for my friend, birth record details were not found, so they have given affidavit saying birth records not found. Will it work? She is waiting for AOR. File received by CIC on 31st May.

Just curious, anybody knows what is the time trend to get the PR for paper based PNP applicants, even just ball park?

Currently its 6-16 months depending on your visa office. There are outlier cases with processing beyond 16 months as well.

Thank you for sharing the info.
It would be awesome, if I could fall into 6 months time frame. :D

BTW, I happened to grab the following info from the IRCC.
It looks like IRCC has been focusing on EE, since most of their resources are working on EE.
The speed would be a lot faster, if they can reallocate some of their resources to PNP, since EE has exceeded their goal already.

- For 2016, Federal Economic - Target of 58,400 with 244 FTEs working on these applications
- For 2016, Provincial Nominee - Target of 47,800 with 57 FTEs working on these applications

Infact I would say eliminate paper process and make everything electronic. No rationale for keeping some streams paper mode.
