My Timeline

Mailed application Oct 12, 2016
AOR- Jan 13, 2017

Today i got an email as follows, I have a few questions
(1)I've provided a copy of the first page of passport in my application, I don't know why I am getting this email. I don't need to send my passport at this point, right?
(2) I'm chinese and I've provided police certificate from China, do I need to provide police certificate for Canada? It says "for any country that you lived more than 6 months". Well I've lived here in Canada for 6 years. However based on some discussions on the forum i assume I don't need to provide police certificate for canada?
(3) Is this a RPRF request? Or am I just paying it upfront now?

Based on the last sentence, I only paid the RPRF and emailed the receipt...just wondering has anyone who has similar timeline with me received the same message from them. Your help is much appreciated...good luck to everyone!
