I am in a need of some guidance here. I applied to bridge my work permit but I was refused. First they changed my application number due to some administration error and then I received the following email.
Anyways, I need to reapply to restore my status. can someone please tell me if i can work in the meantime, because if not, would that not affect my ongoing PR application ?
also, how to make sure that it is not refused this time. I AM REALLY TENSED RIGHT NOW ! :(
as far as i know when you are on restoration you are not permitted to work until you get your new work permit.

does that affect my PR application?

Hello friends, I applied for PR 16months back. When I called CIC yesterday the agent said that the officer is still doing some background checks on my application and he further said that no one knows how long my application will take.
I would like to know the sequence which is followed by cic on a PNPPR applications from the very in Initial stage i.e 1) security 2) background..

Yup, the process is way longer than what they are saying now my friend. Mine is reaching 20 months.
PNPPR application usually follows these steps : AOR --> initial background check --> medical request --> security check --> decision made

i dont know exactly but probably not as long as you are here in the country..just dont plan of going anywhere out of the country coz you might not be able to come back if you dont have a proper document..just stay until its done and i think it will be fine..:)

just make sure that you submit all the necessary documents for you to get the BOWP and they only need the AOR and PNP certificate..that is the important..:)

thanks :)

You have to apply for restoration ASAP..on once u got restoration approved then u can work..if u dont apply for restoration then u dont have any status .as long as you apply for it u can stay here but no working..

bcoz not everyone gets qualify for express entry .. but at this point i feel 90% of people here are qualified for express entry ...its just paying those 1000$ extra ..plus giving Celpip /IELETS is going to be little time consuming at this point of time ... but definitely good option for people who are applying for paper application right now ..just saying ..i myself applied under express entry last week .. at this point its just frustrating .
