You don't have to compare yourself to anybody. Different stages of application are fast depending on CIC. For example, I got my additional request (PCC, schedule A and the rest) a month after AOR. All of my friends that applied before me were telling me how lucky I was to have gotten it so fast. I ended up waiting forever for my MR while they got their MR pretty quickly. It seems to me that CIC is concentrating its effort on AOR right now. Doesn't mean the application will be processed any faster than yours.
i know its just that i cant help it..and i know how frustrated every one of us here in this waiting game!..

I totally understand. At this point I just pray to God to favor my application and make me not experience any unnecessary delay. It will be over soon, just keep hope alive k? :)

I hear you....Like I'm not mean...but this is fucked up. A friend of mine, unemployed, went back to school for Master's, completed his thesis, still unemployed...but applied for EE as research assistant...., got his PR 6 months ago. I was just disappointed with the system. I've held permanent full time jobs, more skilled than many peers of mine...but I'm struggling with my permanent status to stay in the country. Just really upset.

Hi am new here and need ur opinions.

Pls I am in tight situation. I'm on a closed work permit and I lost my job. It's hard getting a new job. I added my spouse to my PNP PR application is over 16months now no update on my file. Whenever I call file is on queue for review by an officer.

Question: I am close to applying for EI (Employment Insurance) as I am cash stranded. Will this EI money negatively affect my application, PNP PR that is already in progress for 17 months? I mean will it raise a red flag for my job loss & affect PNP PR?
i m not certain
it might affect but its just what i think not that i know of

Any idea what they need exactly for bridging WP? I am currently working out of the nominated province but still has my house over there. I dont know what to provide to not misrepresent and also not to ruin my case. PLEASE advise!

I am in a need of some guidance here. I applied to bridge my work permit but I was refused. First they changed my application number due to some administration error and then I received the following email.
Anyways, I need to reapply to restore my status. can someone please tell me if i can work in the meantime, because if not, would that not affect my ongoing PR application ?
also, how to make sure that it is not refused this time. I AM REALLY TENSED RIGHT NOW ! :(
